I have read a few books on heaven, but none quite like “Revealing Heaven II” by Kat Kerr. To give you an idea as to what this book is about, here is the back cover information.
“Revealing Heaven II takes you further into the mysteries of God and continues to unveil His home – HEAVEN!
You will visit more amazing mansions, find out why God allows your pets to go there and learn about Higher Education. Kat also tells of the time when the Father caught her up to His throne and revealed His heart to His people! You can know the wonders of Heaven through her beautiful illustrations of the celestial realm.
See where the little babies play and find out what the Valley of the Falls is like as she continues her journeys to Heaven. Also be prepared for the Great Awakening that is about to be poured out on this earth. Jesus said it will be the most exciting time to be alive as Believers!”
Kat Kerr clams to have been caught up into heaven multiple times and mentions many things in her book that I have never heard anything about before like Surf Park, Gallery and Animal Park, clarification on what happens after a suicide, Headquarters of the Host, The Place of Angels, the Portal, and much more. My mind was swimming after reading this book and I am still trying to put it all together and compare it back to scripture.
There have been other books on heaven like 90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death and Life by Don Piper and Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo that are much easier to understand.
90 Minutes in Heaven is the true account by Don Piper of the time he spent in Heaven who is from Pasadena, Texas. My sister and her family knew Don personally as they at one time were members of First Baptist Church of Pasadena, Texas where Don is a pastor/teacher. Don would often communicate with the congregation about his visit to heaven that changed his life and the way he looks at life dramatically. He was in the hospital for 13 months and had 34 major surgeries after being killed in a car accident and coming back to life. He has written several books and stories about the time he spent in heaven and his road to recovery.
Heaven is For Real is the story of a young three-year old boy named Colton Burpo, as told by his father, Todd Burpo about his encounter with Jesus, angels, and heaven. If you have not read this book, I would highly recommend it. This book reveals heaven and the things of heaven through the eyes of a child. Too many things happened in the book for me not to believe it is a true account. One of the things that really caught my attention in the book was a part about Colton pointing out that a painting done by an eight year old prodigy “Akiane Kramarik” was what Jesus really looks like. The name of the painting done by Akiane is entitled “Prince of Peace”. It is amazing to me that a three-year old would point out something like that if it was not true. He would know since he was able to sit on the lap of Jesus when he went to heaven.
